I am interested in the invisible threads that connect people with nature, animals, places and with themselves. Rather than seeing humans as separate from the natural world, my work explores our place within it, as participants, caretakers and companions.
Whether I paint expressive portraits, create Paper Dolls or work outdoors with found materials, each piece is an invitation to slow down, to observe and to rediscover our relationship with the living world.
Process is central to my work.
I rarely begin with a fixed image in mind. Instead, I follow a sensation, a thought, or an inner movement as it takes form through drawing, painting or collage. The work unfolds step by step, guided by attention rather than intention.
I am interested in what emerges when control is loosened.
When intuition leads, images develop through layering, responding, pausing and continuing. The final work is not planned in advance, but revealed through the process itself.
